Vergaderen 3.0

Suddenly everything became transparent

There are clear indications that World Soccer Championships was both by Qatar. Scandals in the Catholic Church were reveliled. Many cases of political corruption came to light. What is happening? It looks like a party where for a while all lights were off and after awhile suddenly went o...

I recently found out that in many organization the meetings are not held and if they are held they are ineffective. In Curacao is usually at Wednesday. Probably also on Monday. In government it is on Wednesday because at that same time the Board of Ministers meet and Minister are less likely to call the departments.

The current Good (Corporate) Governance crisis in Curaçao, may become a blessing. Why? Because it will show once and for all that governance is a serious business and must be left to good people. Good people are kwowledgeable and ethical professionals. The best person I ever knew was my grandmother, but a would not put her on the board. Because she...

Just a few recent examples: Aqualectra, Refeneria di Kòrsou and UTS. Shareholder, supervisory board and management fighting over everything and the performance of the company heading downwards. What is the problem? What is the root cause...
